Pickled Turnips
This is a quick recipe that allows you to make pickled turnips for less than $1
Ingredients
- 1 lb Turnips
- 1 Red Beet
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 cup Water
- 1/4 cup White Vinegar
Instructions
- Cut turnips and beets to the size you like to use for dipping
- Mix together the cut beets, water and salt
- Add the vinegar to the jar
- Add half the turnips to the jar, followed by some beets, then the remaining turnips and beets in layers
- Let them sit on the counter for 3-4 days and then enjoy!
