Vegan Pumpkin Pie Strudel
Ingredients
- 1 package puff pastry
- 3 cups fresh baked pumpkin can is ok
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cloves or nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons vegan butter
Instructions
- Method:
- Melt butter and spices
- Add to the remaining ingredients keeping small chunks not mashed.
- Cut each pastry sheet to 4 sections,
- Add the stuffing and pecans over it.
- Rub the pastry with starch and water to hold it to close.
- Bake on 375° F for 20 minutes ( depending on your oven) then just broil to light brown (watch the oven ).
- Serve hot or cold you can add whip cream too if like you can also reheat.
